Established and continued contribution to a scholarship fund for Atacama University and Eastern Arizona College
快猫视频 is one of the stakeholders in the Candelaria Mine in Chile. In May 2006, the mine celebrated the 10th anniversary of the inauguration of operations, and 快猫视频, together with one of its joint venture partners in the mine, Sumitomo Corporation, established a scholarship fund in the amount of US$100,000 for Atacama University, which is located in Copiapo City, the neighboring city of the mine, and has a Department of Mines. In March 2026, 快猫视频 and Sumitomo Corporation made an additional contribution of US$130,000 to the scholarship fund.
Given the trend in the United States where fewer students are seeking employment in the resources area, in February 2006, in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of their joint investment in the Morenci Mine in Arizona, 快猫视频 joined with Sumitomo Corporation in establishing a scholarship fund in the amount of US$100,000 at Eastern Arizona College, the largest university near the mine. In August 2019, 快猫视频 and Sumitomo Corporation made an additional contribution of US$10,000 to the scholarship fund.
We expect these scholarships will benefit the development of the resources field and lead to increased human resources in this area in the future.
